Discover the Positive Tourism Routes
A program of guided routes organized by the Department of Tourism of the City Council of San Cristóbal de La Laguna and the association Desaplatánate, aimed at showcasing the municipality in a unique way through regenerative tourism.

Regenerative tourism proposes an approach that not only respects the environment but actively improves it. The Positive Tourism Routes offer nature-based experiences that promote biodiversity, community well-being, and responsible development.

This initiative invites both visitors and locals to actively participate in restoring the natural environment and building a more conscious and transformative model of tourism for the future.

 [August 17th] WINE & LINEN – El Batán

✨ An afternoon of nature, history, and local flavors. Join us on a short but intense trail leading to La Cueva del Lino, where we’ll explore its story and traditional use.
We’ll wrap up the experience with a tasting of local products accompanied by delicious wine.

Meeting point: Plaza de El Batán
Start time: 4:00 p.m.
Difficulty: Medium – Short trail, but with steep elevation
⏳ Total duration: 5 hours
We recommend using public transport.
You can take bus line 274 from La Laguna Bus Station at 3:00 p.m., arriving at El Batán around 3:50 p.m.
Return bus available at 8:55 p.m.

Recommendations:

• Hiking shoes
• Hat or cap
• Enough water
• Camera or phone for photos
• Light clothes and a jacket for the return
• And the desire to connect with local culture!
